Mark A. Bull is Senior Superintendent of Field Services, Public Safety & Technology Division, for the Houston Airport System. Since 2004, he has been responsible for planning and implementing programs related to safety, security, loss prevention, security management, and emergency planning operations at Bush Intercontinental Airport.
Mark has enjoyed an outstanding career with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice with a diverse range of experience from Corrections Officer to Assistant Warden. As a consultant, he has conducted site selection research for prisons and a technology museum, and recommended security and safety strategies to high-end homeowners, legal, and mental health professionals. He has also provided training for the Austin Police Department on the topics of Prison Gangs, Policing in an Era of World Terrorism, and Parole and Policing and has provided insight into many other criminal justice issues as a guest speaker for the University of Texas at Austin, Sam Houston State University, and Southwest Texas State University.
Mark is also a veteran of Desert Shield/Storm and an SHSU alumnus. He graduated Magna cum Laude from Sam Houston State University with a B.S. in Criminal Justice in 1992 and was awarded a Masters of Science Degree in Security Studies from Sam Houston State University in May of 2009.
