SHSU Counseling and Disability Services, Multicultural Student Services, SAAFE House, Crime Victim Services Alliance, Student Health Services, and Alpha Chi Omega Sorority would like to invite you to Ignite the Night and take a stand for sexual assault survivors! April is National Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month and we would like for you to march with us as we Ignite the Night and honor those that have lost their lives due to sexual assault.

Event participants will meet at the Old Main Pit and march to the Walker County Courthouse after hearing presentations from SHSU officials and student leaders. A candlelight vigil will take place at the Walker County Courthouse and will be followed by debriefing sessions with SHSU counselors for students to process the event and overall experience.
